Owner & Optometrist
Apoorva Jinka-Patel, OD, FAAO graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. Dr. Jinka completed her residency in Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease at the VA NY Harbor Health Care System in Brooklyn, NY. She has also served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for SUNY College of Optometry, precepting optometry students in both private practice and hospital settings. Dr. Jinka has presented research posters at national academy meetings, participated in Grand Rounds lectures, and delivered a COPE-approved lecture to fellow eye care professionals. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, she holds an esteemed distinction for maintaining the highest standards of professional competence and for her dedication to lifelong learning.
In 2024, Dr. Jinka proudly became the owner of Lawrenceville Eye Care, a practice with over 100 years of service to the community. She is honored to continue its rich legacy of providing quality eye care while bringing modern innovations and personalized care to her patients. Additionally, she is the founder of Dry Eye Room, a specialty clinic focused on advanced treatments for ocular surface disease.
Medical Director
Dr. Arth Patel is a board-certified family medicine physician who serves as the Medical Director of the Dry Eye Room. In this role, Dr. Patel oversees the clinical protocols, equipment, and medications used, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. His expertise ensures that the Dry Eye Room operates with cutting-edge technology and treatments, delivering effective solutions for dry eye conditions.
Dr. Patel brings his passion for high-quality holistic care to the practice, ensuring that each aspect of patient management is approached with a comprehensive and patient-centered mindset. He earned his medical degree from CUNY Medical School/New York Medical College and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Connecticut. With a focus on improving the quality of care through evidence-based practices, Dr. Patel is dedicated to maintaining the Dry Eye Room at the forefront of innovation in dry eye management.
Associate Optometrist
Dr. Larry J. Greidinger was born in Brooklyn, and raised in Queens, NY. He graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 1975. He continued his education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia where he received his Bachelor's of Science Degree and Doctor of Optometry Degree in 1979.
Dr. Greidinger joined the practice in 1984. He was trained by the group's ophthalmologists for over 30 years and practices all aspects of optometry including medical management of eye disease and co-management of our surgical patients.
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Mostafavi is the founder of Mostafavi Eye Princeton. A board-certified ophthalmologist, he specializes in cataract surgery, uveitis, general ophthalmology, and resident education. He has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. He also currently serves as Chairman of Ophthalmology at Richmond University Medical Center.
Dr. Mostafavi completed his ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate and was named administrative chief resident by the faculty. While a resident, he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical society, an honor given to only a few residents at an academic institution. After residency, David extended his training with a fellowship in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary under the guidance of Michael Samson M.D. and Sanjay Kedhar M.D., both recognized leaders in the fields of ocular inflammation and corneal disease. Dr. Mostafavi completed his medical school training at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
